Three 37" Digital Posters and a 37" Thru Glass Touch Information Point Kiosk are installed at Rugby Visitor Centre
Requirement
The objective for Rugby Borough Council was
to integrate a simple Digital Signage Network
into the councils new and purpose built
modern Visitor Centre.
This building is the home for the library,
museum and tourist information centre.
Rugby Borough Council wanted a flexible
solution that allows them to provide visitors
with directions, news of "what's going on"
and the ability to communicate with the
public outside of normal opening hours.
Solution
Remote Media provided a solution that meets
with all of Rugby’s requirements. The
solution consists of three 37" LCD Digital
Posters that have been mounted from the
ceilings in landscape orientation. These
provide information relating to opening hours,
new exhibits within the museum and the
latest travel information.
The final part of the
solution comprises of
a 37" Thru Glass
Touch screen that is
used to display the
same information as
the Digital Posters in
addition to providing
the public with an
interactive portal
that can be used to
obtain further
information via a
secure browser. This
can be accessed
from the outside 24
hours a day.
Remote Media’s scheduling software and
Media Player manages the content being
displayed on the 4 screens across the
network.
This enables content to be managed and
scheduled to appear when and where
required in advance.
Rugby Visitor Centre
