How do I log on to change my company's details?
If your company already exists on the POPbuyer site you will need to fill in a registration form. Upon validation your user name and password will be emailed to you.
If my company is not listed how do I obtain an entry?
You can visit New Company Registration page. After completion the entry will be validated together with your authority. Details will be emailed to you.
How do I inform my colleagues and friends about the POPbuyer Directory?
Visit the Recommend Us page by following the link on the menu.
What is the POPbuyer Directory?
The POPbuyer Directory is one of the most comprehensive directories of POP/POS and Retail related resources on the Internet today that serves the UK market place. The aim of the Directory is to allow buyers, specifiers and suppliers to locate products quickly.
What Business Model does the POPbuyer Directory work on?
Every company listed in the POPbuyer Directory has a basic free entry, which can be enhanced by allowing the company to subscribe to several different packages, which enables that company to stand out from the competition.
Can I change my entry once listed?
Once you are listed on the POPbuyer Directory you can change your information any time you like by logging in to the members area. Certain information however will only be actioned when we have verified the details. (ie Change in website address).
Why do we have to wait for you to verify our details before we are listed?
We take pride in the directory we are producing for our visitors and want it to be the most relevant directory for the industry. If we allowed companies to automatically be included then we could be opening the door to possible abuse.
When will my entry appear on the POPbuyer Directory?
We aim to get the majority of companies listed within 96 hours. However during busy periods this may take much longer. You will be notified via e-mail once your listing has been accepted or declined.
Our listing has been declined, but why?
There are a number of reasons why we may declined your listing. The e-mail that we sent to you will have highlighted the reasons why. If you feel that we have declined you in error, (after all we are human!) then send an email to directorymanager@popbuyer.co.uk, explaining why you feel we have made an error and we will reply to you promptly.
Why should I advertise on the POPbuyer Directory, after all there are hundreds of Internet Directories?
This is true, however these directories are not specific to the POP/POS or Retail industry. General search engines are becoming so bloated that with some searches it is virtually impossible to get the information that you want quickly. This is where specialised industry directories like the POPbuyer Directory come into their own. We more often than not have the information that you require within the first search results.
Can I see a sample listing?
You can see any of our enhanced listing types by visiting the 'Upgrade Listing' Page and selecting [example] next to the sample that you wish to see.
I want to recommend that my suppliers add their company to the POPbuyer Directory. How do I do this?
Firstly, thank you very much for wanting to recommend the Directory to your suppliers. You can use our 'Recommend a Company' page.
I already have a Basic Listing on the POPbuyer Directory, but I would like to upgrade it to another listing type. What should I do?
Login to the POPbuyer Directory with your username and password that was given to you when you first joined the Directory and you will see an 'Upgrade Your Listing' option. Click on the link and you will be given a costing based on how long you had left with your Basic Listing subscription.
